The thesis topic “Leadership of Thai Binh provincial Party committee in agricultural economic development from 2001 to 2010” was selected as PhD thesis on history specialized in history of the Vietnamese Communist Party. The thesis focuses on the study of Thai Binh provincial Party committee’s leadership in development of agricultural economy from 2001 to 2010. This is the period when Thai Binh province has just overcome the late 90s of the 20th century, happens widespread crowded petition, destabilizing in rural areas, causing severe consequences in many aspects. Although it had been overcome, the consequences had to continue to resolve during the years of 2001 – 2010.
