The outstandingly advantages of Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) are faster speed of construction, lower price. At present, its applications have been quite common in Vietnam. Almost the principal calculations in design and construction of RCC Dam inherited from basic concepts of normal concrete or taking from foreign documents. Recently, there have been some incidents happened at main dam of RCC dams, but no evaluations or deeply summaries addressed. Even though the scientific evident and theoretical calculations in applications of RCC technology used in Vietnam, but there is lack of in-depth research. The studies about construction schedule of RCC dams are vital in order to make projects become more reasonable and effective.
