– Eleven compounds isolated compounds from leave of
Phyllathus acidus in Vietnam, which has been determined the
structure of which a compound was first isolated from the genus
Phyllanthus and a compound was first isolated from nature:
kaempferol-3-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(12)]-β-D-
glucuronopyranosyl methyl ester.
– Compounds isolated from leaves Phylanthus acidus has been
investigated for antioxidant, hepatoprotective effect, in which
myricitrin has the strongest liver protection activity through
antioxidant activity. The new compound, kaempferol-3-O-[α-L-
rhamnopyranosyl-(12)]-β-D-glucuronopyranosyl methyl ester
protects liver through exhibited cytokine modulating activities over
time like TNF-, IL-6, IL-10 through signal transducer and activator
of transcription 3 (STAT3). However, in order to confirm the STAT3
activation of this compound, we will have to do further researches.
