This thesis is about the fund mobilization activity of Shinhan Vina Joint-Venture Bank
(SVB). Data on growth rate, size and structure of fund mobilization is used to find out feasible
solutions and practical proposals to strengthen fund mobilization activity of SVB. Data is
collected from the Financial Statements, Annual Business Reports of SVB and some other
banks. Data is also collected from customer opinion survey on deposit services of SV B. Such
research methods as generalizing, analyzing, comparing, SWOT analysis, diagrammatizing are
used. The actual situation of fund mobilization activity of SVB including achievements,
outstanding problems, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and thread s to fund mobilization
activities are identified and reflected in this thesis. Five solutions are given to strengthen fund
mobilization activity of SVB.
